Bicycle Buds at The Gallery Café Bar in Westport.

Bicycle Buds hold community focused events centred around two wheels. You are invited to come over to The Gallery and learn about basic bicycle maintenance, how to change a tyre, adjust your brakes, find your riding position and also to meet like-minded people who enjoy riding bicycles.

It is a place to share bicycle stories, and plan mini-adventures and multi-country tours (well why not?) or just have a cup of tea and fix a puncture from that old stack of inner tubes you have!

Bike stand provided, bring your own tools and pump to begin with! Full rules and indemnity requirements can be found here.

Meet at the Gallery Café/Bar in Westport
Video from Jan Kamensky's website, in his own words:

"I’m making short animated films, because I'm convinced that it's important to see what happens if we transform car-dominated streets into human-friendly places. My utopian animations present visual arguments for change. With my utopias, I want to open a window onto our opportunities and make possibilities visible. The playful visualisations are meant to awaken joy and confidence in our common future in harmony with the environment."

If I bring my bike to get a puncture repaired, will you do it for me?
